The Landscape
The Garden of Europe
The Lednice-Valtice UNESCO World Heritage site is a vast man-made parkland of romantic chateaux, canals, ponds, forest trails, and ornate follies.
Since its nationalization in 1945, the nearly 300 km² complex has opened to the public and evolved from a private estate into a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape welcoming nearly half a million visitors annually.
From the Wine Salon in Valtice to the rare tree species in Lednice park, the site is a vibrant cultural hub and a tribute to Moravian history and nature.
